Today I tried a variation on an old classic. I used the Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe, but substituted 2 cups whole wheat flour and 1/4 C unsweetened cocoa powder for the all purpose flour called for in the recipe. The first batch came out looking a little burnt on the bottoms, so I took them out a couple minutes early the second time. They taste delicious, but part of me wants to christen them ‘cow pies’ because of the way they look. Let me know what you think!
